We worked with Cartwright & Butler during a pivotal chapter in the company's history, as three brothers set out to transform their family's bakery business, which dates back to the early 1900s. The ambition was to create a brand that reflected the exceptional quality of their products while celebrating generations of traditional baking and homemade recipes.
Our involvement included the creation of the logo marque, packaging design, photography, and brochure design, helping to establish the visual identity that has become synonymous with the brand today. At the heart of the design are the now iconic Kilner-style tins and jars, whose bold colours and timeless presentation have become instantly recognisable to customers around the world.
We introduced a distinctive visual language that combined playful illustration, vibrant colour and premium packaging, bringing warmth and personality to a range of high-quality food products and luxury hampers. Every touchpoint was designed to reflect the craftsmanship, generosity and heritage behind the brand, while helping Cartwright & Butler stand apart in the premium food market.
